Cam Thanh village is a village of 30ha nipa palm forest. During the Vietnam War, it was used as a shelter for local people and soldiers, and nowadays this place is famous for providing the most seafood products within this area. Joining this tour, you will have a chance to learn about the traditional fishing techniques and how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the coconut – palm forest.
The tour departs daily from Hoi An.

Full Itinerary

08.00: After breakfast, our local guide will pick up at the hotel by coach and transfer to a local fishing village. Board on a boat and commence cruising on Cua Dai River. Enjoy hands-on experience of round net or cast net and learn how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. Also, explore the present tranquil coconut in Cam Thanh and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides.
Back on – board, enjoy the Traditional Fisherman’s Lunch prepared by our chef.
